First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding core strengthening exercises (like abdominal work) to standard physical therapy can reduce pain and improve daily function in people with temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD). Researchers will enroll 50 adults with jaw pain and compare outcomes between those who receive core-focused therapy and those who do not. The goal is to find a simple, non-invasive way to ease TMD symptoms.
