Jump higher: core training boosts plyometric gains in elite athletes
NCT ID NCT07573605
First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding core stability exercises to a standard plyometric (jump) training program helps elite high jump athletes jump higher. Twenty-seven athletes aged 19-24 were split into two groups: one did both core and plyometric training, the other did plyometrics alone. After six weeks, researchers measured their vertical jump to see if the combined training made a bigger difference.
