NCT ID NCT07466134
First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding core stability exercises to standard physical therapy helps young gymnasts (ages 7-10) with groin muscle strain. Thirty-six gymnasts with mild to moderate groin injuries were split into two groups: one got only standard rehab, the other added core exercises. Researchers measured hip muscle strength, pain levels, and groin function after eight weeks to see if core training improves recovery.
