First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding core stability exercises to standard physical therapy helps young gymnasts (ages 7-10) with groin muscle strain. 36 children took part, with half doing extra core work for 8 weeks. The goal was to improve hip muscle balance and reduce pain. Results may show a better way to recover from this common injury.
