Does how the cord is cut affect a Preemie's stem cells?
NCT ID NCT07385326
Summary
This study looked at whether different ways of clamping the umbilical cord after birth affect the number of stem cells in a preterm baby's blood. Researchers randomly assigned 49 preterm babies to different cord clamping methods during routine delivery. They then took blood samples to measure and compare stem cell counts between the groups to understand early blood system development.
