NCT ID NCT03681834
First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at how well the Cor-Knot® device works during heart valve surgery. The device automatically ties knots in the threads that hold the new valve in place, which may reduce the time the heart is stopped during surgery. Researchers collected information from over 550 adults having planned heart valve surgery to check for leaks around the new valve. The goal was to gather real-world data on the device's safety and effectiveness.
