Summary
This study looks at whether measuring a substance called copeptin in the blood can help doctors diagnose central diabetes insipidus (CDI) in children after brain surgery. CDI causes extreme thirst and frequent urination. The study will track copeptin levels in 100 children in the ICU to see if it can tell the difference between temporary and permanent CDI. The goal is to find a better way to diagnose this condition early.
