First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special training program for primary care doctors can help people with COPD take their medications more regularly. About 40 doctors will be randomly assigned to receive the training or continue usual care. The training includes updates on COPD, inhaler use workshops, and motivational interviewing. Researchers will track patients' medication use and flare-ups over 12 months to see if the program makes a difference.
