Summary
This study tests whether clinical pharmacists can provide COPD care that is as good as care from lung specialists. About 4,000 veterans with COPD will receive treatment recommendations from either a pharmacist or a specialist, sent to their primary care doctor. The goal is to see if pharmacist-led care can improve patient outcomes and access to proven therapies.
