Summary
This study follows 100 adults with COPD for one year to see how airway inflammation, lung function, and symptoms change over time. Researchers use a simple breath test (FeNO) and a small blood sample to measure inflammation. Participants attend three routine visits (start, 6 months, 12 months) and no extra treatments are given. The goal is to learn whether these markers can help predict worsening symptoms.
