NCT ID NCT06708702
First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if a mouthwash made from copaiba oil could prevent or treat painful mouth sores (oral mucositis) in people receiving radiation for oral cancer. It planned to include 40 adults, randomly assigned to use either the copaiba mouthwash or a placebo four times a day, while also receiving standard laser therapy. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
