NCT ID NCT06708702
First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study aimed to see if a mouthwash made from copaiba oil could prevent or treat painful mouth sores (oral mucositis) in people with oral cancer receiving radiation therapy. It planned to include 40 adults, split into two groups: one using the copaiba mouthwash and the other a placebo, four times a day. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
