Summary
This study looks at whether simple cooling methods, like wetting the skin or wearing a water-soaked T-shirt, can help people with heart failure avoid dangerous overheating during heat waves. About 88 adults with and without heart failure will sit in a hot, dry room while their body temperature and heart stress are measured. The goal is to find an easy, low-cost way to protect vulnerable people from heat-related health risks.
