Summary
This study tests if painting roofs with a special reflective coating can lower indoor temperatures and improve mental health. 800 people in Ahmedabad, India, will have their roofs treated or not, and researchers will track changes in depression, anxiety, and well-being. The goal is to find a simple, low-cost way to protect communities from the mental health effects of extreme heat.
