New online toolkit aims to ease cancer anxiety in rural seniors

Summary

This study tests a web-based toolkit called CONNECT designed to help rural older cancer survivors manage cancer-related emotional distress and anxiety. The toolkit includes interactive activities for setting up telehealth visits, educational materials, and personalized mental health resource recommendations. Researchers will enroll 578 participants to see if using CONNECT improves distress and anxiety over 12 months.
