NCT ID NCT07461415

First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether coaching from community health workers through telehealth can help people with dangerously high blood pressure avoid major heart problems like heart attacks and strokes. About 3,620 adults with severe hypertension will either get this coaching or standard clinic care. The goal is to see if the coaching reduces serious heart events and helps lower blood pressure over time.
