New device aims to take the guesswork out of concussion recovery

Summary

This study is testing a device called HeadPulse that measures brain activity to help doctors know when someone has fully recovered from a concussion. Researchers are enrolling 150 athletes and others aged 4 and up who have a suspected or diagnosed concussion. The goal is to create an objective tool to help determine when it is safe for a person to return to sports or normal activities, even if they feel fine.
