First seen May 10, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tested whether playing special computer games (CogniFit and Cogmed) could improve thinking skills like memory, attention, and self-control in 176 Hong Kong primary school children aged 6-12. Children played the games for 15-20 minutes, three times a week, for 8 weeks. Researchers measured their cognitive abilities before, right after, and 2 months after training, and also asked parents about their child's behavior.
