Summary
This study looked at whether wearing compression socks, tights, or an abdominal belt can reduce the sudden drop in blood pressure when standing up, a condition called orthostatic hypotension. 43 older adults hospitalized with this condition participated. Researchers measured blood pressure changes with and without compression to see which method works best.
