Socks vs. tights: the battle to stop elderly falls
NCT ID NCT06694688
Summary
This study is testing whether special compression socks, tights, or an abdominal belt can help older adults who get dizzy or have a dangerous drop in blood pressure when they stand up. Researchers will compare five different setups, including no compression, on 44 hospitalized patients over half a day. The goal is to find the most effective and comfortable way to manage this common problem without using drugs.
