Socks vs. tights: the fight against sudden drops in blood pressure

NCT ID NCT06694688

Summary

This study is testing whether special compression socks, tights, or an abdominal belt can help people who get dizzy or lightheaded when they stand up, a condition called orthostatic hypotension. Researchers will compare how well different types and levels of compression work to reduce the sudden drop in blood pressure. The goal is to find the most comfortable and effective non-drug option to help prevent falls and improve daily life for older adults.
