Summary
This study compares two types of weight-loss surgery in 220 adults with severe obesity. One surgery is a sleeve gastrectomy (stomach reduction), the other adds an intestinal bypass. Researchers will measure weight loss, acid reflux, and other health changes over time. Participants must be 20-60 years old and have a BMI of 35 or higher with related health problems.
