Summary
This study looked at 40 children with Hirschsprung disease who had one of two types of surgery to remove the diseased part of the colon and reconnect the healthy part to the anus. The goal was to see which technique led to better bowel function, like the ability to hold in stool and avoid accidents. Both surgeries were done with a camera through small belly incisions and through the anus.
