Summary

This study compares two laparoscopic surgeries for apical prolapse (when the top of the vagina or uterus drops). The standard surgery (sacrocolpopexy) works well but has risks. The newer technique (pectopexy) uses a different ligament and may be safer and quicker. Researchers will enroll 30 women with stage 3 or higher prolapse to see which surgery has better success, less pain, and a shorter learning curve for surgeons.
