First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study aimed to see if an extended-release version of the water pill torsemide helps heart failure patients get rid of salt better than the standard version, especially after a salty lunch. It planned to enroll stable heart failure patients and compare urine salt levels over 24 hours. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
