Wearable sensors track progress in cerebral palsy therapy study

NCT ID NCT07496151

Summary

This study compares two common physical therapy approaches for children with cerebral palsy to see which works better for improving arm strength and trunk control. Forty children aged 4-12 will receive either Neurodevelopmental Treatment (focusing on movement patterns) or functional physiotherapy (focusing on daily activities). Researchers will use wearable sensors to measure trunk movement and traditional tests to track improvements over 12 weeks.
