Wearable sensors to test which therapy best helps kids with CP move better
NCT ID NCT07496151
Summary
This study aims to compare two common physical therapy methods for children with cerebral palsy to see which one better improves arm strength and core stability. Forty children aged 4-12 will receive either Neurodevelopmental (Bobath) therapy, which focuses on posture and movement patterns, or functional physiotherapy, which emphasizes practicing everyday tasks. Researchers will use wearable sensors to measure trunk control and standard tests to measure strength and balance over 12 weeks.
