First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study compared two surgical techniques for treating high undescended testicles in children. Fifty children were randomly assigned to receive either the newer Shehata traction method or the standard two-stage Fowler-Stephens surgery. The goal was to see which technique better places the testicle in the scrotum without later shrinkage or movement.
