First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study compares two methods—oversewing (stitches) and surgical clips—used to reinforce the staple line in laparoscopic one-anastomosis gastric bypass. The goal is to see which technique reduces the risk of serious bleeding after surgery. Thirty adults who qualify for weight-loss surgery will take part, and researchers will also measure surgery time and costs.
