Can a 2-Week radiation course be as gentle as a 4-Week course for prostate cancer?

NCT ID NCT04422132

First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study compares two shortened radiation schedules for men whose prostate cancer has come back after surgery. One group gets 20 treatments over 4 weeks, the other gets 5 treatments over 2 weeks. The main goal is to see if the shorter course causes similar or fewer bowel and urinary side effects, while also tracking cancer control and quality of life.
