First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 720 women with early-stage breast cancer who had surgery to remove the tumor. They were split into two groups: one got standard daily radiation for several weeks, and the other got a shorter course of higher-dose radiation. The goal was to see if the shorter treatment works just as well and has similar side effects.
