First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tested two ways to remove the small attachments used with clear aligners (like Invisalign) after treatment is done. 32 adults had attachments removed using either special pliers or a dental drill (bur) on different sides of their mouth. The goal was to see which method caused less pain and took less time. Results help dentists choose the best technique for a more comfortable patient experience.
