New back surgery pain block goes Head-to-Head with established method

Summary
This study aims to compare two different ultrasound-guided nerve block techniques for managing pain after spinal fusion surgery. Researchers will enroll 80 adults undergoing elective back surgery to see if a newer block method works as well as a modified established technique. The main goal is to determine which approach provides better pain control while reducing the need for opioid pain medications during recovery.
