First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looked at 150 people with mild memory issues to see if a special MRI scan (pCASL) can give similar information as a standard PET scan. The goal is to find a simpler, cheaper way to detect early brain changes. Participants had MRI, PET, and spinal fluid tests, and were followed for three years with memory tests.
