Which membrane best saves your jawbone after a tooth pull?

NCT ID NCT05505084

First seen May 15, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at five different membranes used to protect the jawbone after a tooth is pulled, to see which one works best for keeping bone volume for future dental implants. 47 adults who needed a premolar removed took part. The goal was to find out if any membrane is better than others, or if a simple dressing works just as well.
