Summary
This study compared two methods of removing the cornea's outer layer during PRK laser eye surgery for nearsightedness and astigmatism. One method uses a laser, the other uses alcohol and manual scraping. The goal was to see which causes less corneal haze, pain, and faster recovery. 71 people were enrolled, but the study was stopped early.
