Summary

This study compared two methods of removing the cornea's outer layer during PRK laser eye surgery for nearsightedness and astigmatism. One method uses a laser (TransPRK), the other uses alcohol and manual removal. The goal was to see which method causes less corneal haze and pain. The study included 71 people and used a special software to measure haze from eye scans.
