NCT ID NCT06561451
First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a special chemical step (artificial oocyte activation) to standard sperm injection (ICSI) can improve the chance of having a baby for couples where the male partner has severe sperm shape issues. About 208 couples will be randomly assigned to receive either ICSI alone or ICSI with the extra activation step. The main goal is to see which group has more live births.
