New gum bandage tested against standard in fight against gum disease

Summary
This study aims to see which of two different gum wound dressings works better after a standard deep cleaning treatment for gum disease. Researchers will compare a newer polymer dressing called Ora-Aid to a traditional paste called Coe-Pak in 25 patients. They will measure gum healing, patient comfort, and bacteria levels over three months to see if one material leads to better results.
