Home dialysis patients needed to help find best way to spot fluid overload
NCT ID NCT07178470
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study compares three ways to check for fluid overload (too much fluid in the body) in people doing dialysis at home: a symptom questionnaire, a physical exam, and a lung ultrasound. About 90 adults with end-stage kidney disease who have been on home dialysis for at least three months will take part. The goal is to see which method works best, but no new treatment is being tested.
