First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at 174 healthy but inactive adults over 60 to compare six different programs that combine physical and mental activities. Some programs added thinking tasks to exercise, while others built thinking into movement. The goal was to see which approach best improves memory, flexibility, and the ability to do two things at once. Participants took part in 3 months of training, with tests before, after, and 3 months later.
