NCT ID NCT07380763
First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study compares two methods of placing a breathing tube in emergency patients who are still breathing on their own but need help. The goal is to see which method—Rapid Sequence Intubation or Delayed Sequence Intubation—leads to better oxygen levels and fewer complications. Researchers will track 140 adults from a single hospital and measure vital signs, blood gases, and survival rates. The results will help emergency teams choose the safest approach for non-trauma patients.
