Dental implant showdown: which design wins for stability?
NCT ID NCT07557836
First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at two different types of dental implants to see which one stays more stable and keeps the surrounding bone healthier after placement. Thirty adults with missing back teeth each got one of the two implant designs. Researchers measured how stable the implants were and how much bone was lost around them at 3 and 6 months after surgery. The goal was to help dentists choose the best implant design for long-term success.
