First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested three different colonoscopy techniques—narrow band imaging, indigo carmine staining, and acetic acid staining—to see which most accurately predicts whether colorectal growths are cancerous. 565 patients with at least one growth 6mm or larger took part. The results could help doctors choose the best method to avoid unnecessary biopsies and improve treatment decisions.
