Summary
This study compares two scoring systems (Silverman-Andersen and Downes) to see which better predicts when breathing support fails in newborns with respiratory distress. Researchers will observe 220 preterm and term infants receiving noninvasive ventilation. The goal is to improve early detection and treatment decisions.
