Summary
This study compares two scoring systems (Silverman-Andersen and Downes) to see which better predicts when a newborn with breathing problems will need a breathing tube. Researchers will observe 220 preterm and full-term infants who are on non-invasive breathing support. The goal is to improve early detection of breathing failure in newborns.
