New study aims to find best way to drain blocked bile ducts in cancer patients

Summary

This study compares two minimally invasive procedures to drain blocked bile ducts in people with certain cancers (like pancreatic cancer). The goal is to see which method keeps the drainage tube (stent) working longer and causes fewer problems. About 40 adults with bile duct blockages will be randomly assigned to one of the two drainage techniques.
