Summary
This study compares two antibiotics, clarithromycin and azithromycin, for treating Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) lung infections. About 424 adults with MAC lung disease will receive one of the two drugs alongside standard treatment. The goal is to see if azithromycin works as well as clarithromycin but with fewer side effects like nausea or drug interactions.
