Fighting HIV stigma: local program aims to boost prevention pill uptake

NCT ID NCT06141408

Summary

This study is testing a community program designed to help more Black gay and bisexual men start taking PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. The program uses peer-led events to reduce stigma and build social support. Researchers will compare participants in the program to a control group to see if it leads more people to get a PrEP prescription and stay on it.
