Calming music and better numbing gel timing could ease painful bladder cancer procedures
NCT ID NCT07204301
Summary
This study aims to see if simple comfort measures can make routine bladder cancer procedures less stressful and painful. Researchers will test interventions like calming music, visual distractions, and optimized timing of numbing gel on 378 patients undergoing cystoscopy or bladder instillation. They will compare these patients to those receiving standard care to measure changes in pain, anxiety, and overall satisfaction.
